Producer Camp #2
Stockholm, Sweden — October 11th, 2019
Giving artists tools and knowledge to take a greater role in the studio as producers.
To empower artists and songwriters in the studio, we started a music production course for female and non-binary creators. The second one took place at the Spotify HQ in Stockholm in the fall of 2019. Ten participants spent 6 days learning or brushing off their skills in basic vocal production, studio terminology and beat making as well as getting inspired by production secrets behind famous tracks.
The participants were female and non-binary artists in different genres and levels of knowledge in music production. We had the honor to welcome Linda Pira, Petra Marklund, Sarah Dawn Finer, Sabina Ddumba, Frida Öhrn, Amanda Winberg, Molly Hammar, Tiana Salmon, Bishat Araya and Silvana Imam.
Guest teachers included Rebecca & Fiona, Salem Al Fakir and Vincent Pontare, Jenny and Cecilia Vaz, Amr Badr, Maria Marcus and more.
Thanks to our partners Northbound Studios, RMV Studios and XLN.
